This is a compilation of original / new (for the time) Steinman songs being performed by Over The Top in 2005 and The Dream Engine in 2006. These are all sourced from commonly available bootleg recordings, although if you're struggling to track them down - send me an email :)

I've not tampered with these recordings or edited them in much of any way, and at the end, I've thrown in a couple extra instrumentals from the Dream Engine files that pop up here and there... As typing out the vocals for each track would be tedious and confusing, I've just listed the most prominent lead and backing vocalists at the top of the lineup. (Note - all images used are from the shows and songs you're listening to, with only a couple exceptions...)

In case you're unaware, this was a band set up by Steven Rinkoff in Jim Steinman after the success of the Over The Top cabaret shows in 2005. It's worth noting that Over The Top is technically separate from The Dream Engine, but both had largely the same lineup - Over The Top played two or three shows in 2005, and The Dream Engine played four or so in 2006. You'll notice slightly reworked versions of 'Still The Children' and 'Not Allowed To Love' lyrically. I saw that many of these haven't been posted before so I thought I may as well continue to treat you all! As always, enjoy :)
