MRE, Menu 14, Ratatouille was never well-liked by US Troops. Maybe that's why this field ration had such a short military service. The Meal Ready to Eat version of Ratatouille is bizarre to say the least. For some reason, they decided to make pasta out of this 'legendary' vegetarian dish. The addition of fake meat in the tomato sauce made things even more odd, but it was welcome all the same. The main issue with this food pack was taste. It was simply bland and disappointing. Replacing it was probably the right call, but unfortunately, its successor was also a flop, lol.
