03 The Downed Dragon

The middle bit was somewhat awkward to capture in terms of time signature and all the irregular chords, but I did my best to approximate the recording. Longest track transcribed so far, but it didn't take as long compared to later ones (Test Drive took about a whole month). Favourite part: the string staccatos near the end.

***Inspired by the wonderful film and Powell's brilliant score, I embarked on the project to transcribe the entire soundtrack for piano in February 2011 - all by ear. Completed arrangements can be found on my blog page via the link above.***
