The D.O.P.E. Drill involves 5 yard lines, each yard line firing 5 rounds as fast as you can at the A-zone. Upon signal, fire 5 rounds targeted into the A-zone, then score your target and record your time. Upon completion of all 5 yard lines, add up all of your points, add up all of your time, and then divide your total points by your total time.
With a maximum of 125 points, a 20 Hit Factor would require 6.25 seconds in total time. This is where time and points can be fluctuating - getting a better total time but sacrificing some points may be needed based on the shooter's skill level to achieve the goal of a 20HF.
To achieve a D.O.P.E. Drill card, you must be in class and achieve above a 20 hit factor with carbine and 10 hit factor with pistol.
