This is my BELATED spooky season episode. We’re going to face the real horrors of life. No, in all seriousness, I have been wanting to do a series like this for a HOT MINUTE. I have been working on this mini-doc for about a month now and I'm so glad to finally set it out into the world. I hope that at the very least it makes you think more about the dairy industry and all that is involved in why milk is historically such a staple in our diets. I always want to encourage people to question authority and think critically, so by all means, fact check and do your own research. I get questions all the time from people about why I went vegan, what’s wrong with dairy? Dont you miss cheese? Etc…
I feel like it’s easier for people to understand why I wouldn’t want to eat meat because, ya know, animal there one day, gone the next, but with dairy it’s like…. Cows MAKE milk anyway right? So why wouldn’t we consume it? And milk = butter = CHEESE hello!?! CHEESE the greatest gift to this earth. So like, what’s the big deal?
