In this video, I reflect on the rise of deconstruction stories and why I find many of them deeply inconsistent. Having once walked the path from agnosticism to Catholicism, I’ve come to recognize that most of our major life decisions are not governed by pure reason—and yet, that’s exactly what is often claimed in stories of people leaving the faith. Here’s why I think that’s not the whole story.
