Did you know that Tyrannosaurus had teeth the size of bananas?!
We’re pleased to share that our Dinosaur Discovery Track opens this week – and you can see a T-Rex for yourself.
Free with Zoo entry, our new dinosaur exploration features 20 animatronic replicas of 15 different species (that move and roar!) from the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods between 200 - 66 million years ago.
This year we’re especially excited to have sauropods, including the gigantic, long-necked Brachiosaurus which is more than 6 metres high and 12 metres long.
Open from 9.30am – 4pm daily (from 10 June 2026) the Track enables visitors of all ages and abilities to try their hand as a palaeontologist and take part in fossil digs. As well as learn cool facts from our Dinosaur Rangers, like Luke!
