Temptation is not sin.
Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, yet He remained without sin. The fact that you’re tempted doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. Sin occurs when we surrender to temptation, not simply because we experience it.
Spiritual maturity is recognizing temptation, looking for a way of escape, and choosing to obey God.
