In this short video we look at the affect of sunlight (UV radiation) on PVC twin and CPC cables (twin and earth cable). How often do we see this type of cable attached to the outside of a building or even consider doing it ourselves. However direct sun light can quickly start breaking down PVC causing it to become brittle.
Videos are training aids for City and Guilds (C and G) and EAL courses Level 1, 2 and 3.
