Welcome to the design story behind Closet Core's newest pattern release! The Fowler jacket is the first pattern in our 2026 theme, "Living" – a year dedicated to heirloom-quality garments that stand the test of time.
This versatile pattern gives you TWO completely different jackets in one: a workwear-inspired barn coat AND a quilted jacket. Both versions are alpha-sized and gender neutral, so you can make this for anyone in your life.
🧥 THE BARN COAT VIEW
• Workwear-inspired design featuring the trendy barn coat silhouette
• Double-layered pockets with both a classic flap pocket and an angled hand pocket
• Standless collar attached directly to the neckline
• Two-piece sleeve with visible topstitching
• Cuff facing that shows when rolled up (perfect for contrast fabric!)
