The Death of Discernment often comes through those who profess to exercise it. Where favoritism and partiality exist, discernment necessarily dies. In God's Providence and arguably in His judgment upon them and their followers (if they continue) for their hypocrisy, the reformed camp, and many who are connected to John MacAthur, have become the unofficial spokesmen for all things "discernment". Those like: Justin Peters, Phil Johnson of Grace to You, Todd Friel of Wretched Radio, Chris Rosebrough of Fighting for the Faith, The Bible Thumping Wingnut an others, have formed a network of deceit whereby they speak of discerning truth from error while actively dealing deathblows to discernment for the sake of self-preservation and self-advancement. They are storing up judgment for themselves, and if you do not depart their company (even virtually) you will find yourself corrupted by their bad company and receiving of their plagues as well.
After their friend and ministry partner JD Hall was recently (and unsurprisingly) found to be a drug addict, embezzler, wife-beater and child abuser, all of these men went to great lengths to protect themselves by obfuscating, gaslighting and covering up the grievous abuses of their long-time friend. JD Hall has since been kicked out of the "church" he once deceived due to his failure to repent of his abuses and deceptions. He remains defiant in the face of some of the worst sins imaginable. None of these men have addressed any of these updates. While this affords a clear window into their corruption, it is actually MUCH deeper as I have been warning for quite some time.
When their friends commit atrocious and gut-wrenching evil, they look the other way, unless they are forced to do some kind of damage control for PR reasons. Yet they spend their time critiquing those who aren't their friends as though they were modern-day prophets. In a sense, they are modern-day prophets; modern-day FALSE PROPHETS. Every false prophet thinks he is a true prophet and purports to be so. Jesus said of them, "You will know them by their fruits.... a bad tree bears bad fruit." (Matthew 7:15-20). These men habitually bear wicked and rotten fruit and call it good, while reviling those who hold them to account for their corruptions. They join the ranks of their spiritual fathers; men like Ahab or the Pharisees in Matthew 23 who shut up the kingdom of heaven against men in the name of God, making their converts twice as much sons of hell as themselves.
This "video" will provide an in-depth look at this woefully corrupt and menacing network of frauds who actively deceive people in the very name of "discernment" and Christ, something you would expect from Satan himself... and no wonder. Do not his ministers present themselves as "angels of light"? Surely they do; they present themselves as "discerning" and on the side of truth. They present a false dichotomy of "us or them". Even the Pharisees opposed the errors of the Sadducees. Jesus called them sons of the devil, still. These are not light claims. Wisdom is justified by her children. Evaluate the undeniable and irrefutable evidence for yourself.
