Our lives can be here today and gone tomorrow. Most people don't plan to die when they die, but are suddenly translated into eternity without warning. For those who are not in Christ, this is a moment of absolute horror and despair. For those who are found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; the true believer in Jesus, it is a time of rejoicing. Yet, even the believer ought to consider well his affairs today that he might improve them all for Christ's sake when his time comes. Our lives are but vapors in light of eternity and here we will consider the fleeting nature of it in an effort to ground ourselves in the perspective of eternity.
