The DBPower D5 is cheap and decent enough GoPro clone but I don't think it is for everyone. Definitely quality is not as good as a higher end cam ($100+) like Akaso V50 X; SJ8 Pro; GoPro Hero Black, etc. Especially in places like video detail, photo detail, image stabilization. Basically if you are looking for the cheapest of the cheap, sub $50 type cam I would not even consider anything else at this point. The D5 is the way to go especially when it drops on sale for $20 - 30. I believe the sellers are losing money on this one.
Also it is mildly obvious that this is a rebrand of the Akaso V50 Pro / MGCool Explorer 3 camera with a different case. I am NOT sure if firmware is compatible so I do not recommend attempting to install the Akaso firmware.
