A look at the Doctor Who Official 50th Celebration, a convention event held at London's Excel. INCLUDES CLIPS FROM ALL PANELS! Presented here by DeeJayOne.
James and Rachael packed up the Sonic Screwdriver and travelled from Sheffield to London on the 50th Anniversary of the world's longest running sci-fi show Doctor Who (Dr Who) on 23 November 2013. Join us on the journey as we experience the full events of the day including celebrity panels, exhibitions, special effects shows, shops and more.

All the way from Sheffield Station to London Docklands and the Excel exhibition centre itself, this video features clips from the special effects show hosted by Dallas Campbell and Danny Hargreaves, a tour of the exhibitions including I.M. Foreman Scrapyard and the TARDIS through to the costumes and props from the show. Other panels included 'The Eleventh Hour' with 11th Doctor Matt Smith, Companion Jenna Louise-Coleman,Writer and producer Steven Moffat and producer Marcus Wilson (hosted by Jo Whiley), and 'The Regenerations Panel' featuring 4th Doctor Tom Baker, 5th Dr Peter Davison, 6th Doctor Colin Baker and 7th Dr Sylvester McCoy (hosted by Nicholas Briggs, the voice of the Daleks in Dr Who!).
Apologies for the poor quality on some of the panels - the camera isn't particularly good in low-light. I left it in with some still shots so you could hear the panelists though. :)
The culmination of the day was watching the 50th Anniversary episode 'The Day of The Doctor' (also featuring 10th Doctor David Tennant and The 'War Doctor' John Hurt, alongside former companion Billie Piper) in 3D at Leicester Square Theatre - and a journey across the Thames on the Emirates Airline cable car to The O2.

ABOUT DOCTOR WHO:
