VFX Supervisor, Pavani Rao Boddapati, has spent a decade in Pandora, working on all three Avatar movies and the 3D flying-simulator ride for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Her career at Wētā FX began as a Lighting TD on Avatar in 2009, progressing to a VFX Supervisor on Avatar: Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Pavani promotes a healthy work-life balance and is passionate about being outdoors, travelling and spending time with loved ones. A highlight of her 16 years here at Wētā FX is the talented and kind people she has gotten to know and work with.
