Next stop on my Jane Austen and Northanger Abbey excursion with Tilly @tillysshelf

This is Royal Crescent. Walks in the Crescent were an essential for well off visitors to Bath for exercise but also to meet people, see and be seen. Jane Austen walked there and her characters do too. Tilly explains one crucial episode when the Crescent appears in Northanger Abbey. We left via the Gravel Path where Anne and Wentworth walk together towards the end of Persuasion.
