The Crafted Cosmos explores the quiet mastery of Japanese craftsmanship. The ceiling and walls are composed of over 30,000 pieces of Kumiko. Beneath your feet lies a rare stone from Fukushima, known as Ukigane-ishi, a stone in which gold appears to float. At the heart of the installation, a chair composed of 45 individual elements. As you sit, your inner presence expands into the space. In that quiet resonance, you become part of the work itself.
