Bartolomeo Cristofori (May 4, 1655 – January 27, 1731) was an Italian maker of musical instruments who is generally regarded as the inventor of the piano. The first unambiguous evidence for the piano comes from a 1700 inventory of the The Medici family (Florence, Italy). Three Cristofori built pianos still exist today and can be found in musea in Rome, Leipzig and New York.

Mendes repeated that success story in 1998 when he re-recorded the song together with the American hip hop band "The Black Eyed Peas". There is a slight difference in meaning as far as Portuguese (the Original language) and Spanish are concerned. In Portuguese it translates as "That's nothing" while in Spanish the translation is "More than nothing".
