"But How Does This Affect You Personally" is a viral conservative meme on Twitter. It critiques the liberal moral prescription that you should try to influence the lifestyle decisions of others as long as they don't affect you personally. To push back on this, we need to understand that every cultural norm was once at some point an individual action which later got scaled up and adopted by the wider society becoming a norm which would self-reinforce itself through social conformity:

Individual - Group - Individual

Thereby every action or belief system adopted by individuals inside the context of a group by definition affects everyone in said group. We get to decide which of those actions goes and which gets to stay. Watch the rest in the video format!
