"The Climate Crisis, made by Tear, Spooooky and ricky06 was the map for the Fangame Marathon 2024 Celeste Blind Race event, where viddie, Parrot Dash, issy and touhoe tried to race through the map blind, and it is now available for the public!
This map follows a linear style for the first three checkpoints, each containing 3 rooms (with one exception...), 1 by each mapper. The checkpoints are themed after a different element: Fire, Water, and Nature. Then branching out in a hub with three rooms, showcasing fusions of the previous areas."

second time around participating in this years blind event! spoiler alert i Lost because i harrd tunnel visioned on tear's cp3 room and also didnt read the cp3 tutorial correctly which came back to bite me in the ass. two rooms from the end isnt bad tho! touhoe managed to BARELY beat the final room right as they transitioned away from the scene on stream which was climactic as hell, super cool
in the moment the map was super fun until the latter half where it started feeling a little iffy during the race, but the pressure of trying (and failing) to read under time pressure just made it less fun than it wouldve been otherwise
having replayed the map several times for the showcase video i can definitely say this map is Peak its so fun nd the routing feels amazing to do
once again shoutout to tykim for making an amazing lil soundtrack for this, its awesome to listen back to when replaying
i got a 17 death run as my third or fourth replaythru, this definitely seems notably easier than superfecta as a golden (barring That One Tear room lol), and it feels like itd be fun as hell
