never again! i never have to think about this map ever again.
ever since this map released i knew i would probably beat it one day, so i started it earlier than later in october of 2022 and got to room 8.
i promptly Gave up and decided i was above forcing myself to play utter dogshit for the sake of keeping up a silly little sweep that doesnt actually mean anything, and i was happy.
i didnt have to worry about this map because i knew i didnt have to clear it, ive Finally moved on , i dont have to force myself to keep up with the list anymore and not enjoy a ton of maps just because i didnt actually want to beat them.

i got a new keyboard and decided to try dashless+, and i beat that in a few days. wow! im still really good at this game even though i havent really been playing much in recent times, thats nice to see.
i decided to play shatter site since i'm a Game enjoyer now and i dont have this silly stigma against dashless gameplay anymore, i was just having fun.
then i kept playing maps because they looked fun, and cool, and it was nice finishing off things that i started a while ago and never completed.
The Source, Horror Vacui, SWAPSLUT, Temple of Bounceleste, hAAAi, Pale Violet, The Big Reveal, even Dragonfruit Decline. i was simply having fun with celeste again, which you know, was really nice since i've been taking this kinda hiatus for a while now.
but, well. i finished everything i had started and left uncompleted... except one thing.
This. Wretched. Map.
Now? now i had determination. i had Spite. i had so much power in my hands, now i WANTED to beat this, i wasnt forcing myself to. i Wanted to. Nothing can stop me, i will finish what i started.

so i used the video ninz made and talked about in their election d clear but since it didnt really help much i decided to Full screen it behind celeste, and when i got to the blind part i would win+shift+right arrow key to move celeste over to my right monitor (thats what the top right display is), then i would Fully ignore celeste and stare at the video, jumping up on 5 and counting down out loud to time the first cornerjump, then i would basically just look down and zone my eyes out after that and pray i hit the rest of the cjumps. once u pass the cjumps the room is basically over, its a really easy input sequence that as long as youre not panicking and arent out of stamina, works every time
