Scotland's largest wildcat, previously a cryptid dubbed the "Clashindarroch Beast" was recently discovered in late March of 2018. With this new, and certainly somewhat radical discovery, comes the notion that cryptozoology can be, and is already utilized as such by many, a legitimate scientific field.
