With its aerospace roots, the Engineering Design Center in Warsaw, Poland, is a an alliance between General Electric and the Warsaw Institute of Aviation, which was established in 2,000 with just 5 employees. Currently, the EDC employs more than 1,800 engineers from all over the world studying multi-sector solutions for aviation, space, automotive, construction, energy, defense, mining and even sport.
