Today’s live is going to be a necessary conversation about bad preaching, spiritual manipulation, and why the church cannot stay silent when public teachers misuse the pulpit.
We are talking about four pastors/preachers: Tiphani Montgomery, Amere May Sr., Clarence McClendon, and Andre Williams. This is not about personal attacks, gossip, or trying to tear people down. This is about examining public teaching, public preaching, and public ministry practices that need to be tested by Scripture.
The Bible repeatedly warns believers to watch out for false teaching, manipulation, greed, pride, and people who use spiritual language to control others. Yet in many churches today, people are told not to question anything, not to test anything, and not to speak up when something is clearly off. That is dangerous.
In this live, we will look at examples of preaching and ministry that raise serious concerns, including emotional manipulation, questionable prophetic claims, twisting Scripture, money-centered preaching, and the elevation of personalities over biblical truth.
The church needs discernment again. We need pastors who preach Christ, not themselves. We need leaders who handle the Bible faithfully, not use it as a tool for hype, control, or financial pressure. And we need believers who are willing to stand for truth, even when it is unpopular.
