The Catherines was a short-lived project done by Ala Fries, formerly of the band Smitten and currently in the band Boudoir, backed up by a band called The Pedal Jets. I used to hear one of her songs on a college radio station when I was in the Army and found the cassette EP at a used record store in Kansas City back in 1991. I played it till it finally disintegrated. I hope to eventually get all the tracks back on MP3 and make videos for each one...
