A Pacific Leg cleanup at Cloudbreak from Erin Brooks, and a defiant victory from Cole Houshmand put a cap on the Fiji Pro Presented by Corona Cero.
In a Finals Day to remember, Cloudbreak delivered some high drama and incredible moments that will live on in Fijian lore. Brooks was named the 2026 victor following Isabella Nichols’ withdraw from the event, but it was no easy road to the Final for either as Brooks notched a Perfect 10 along the way. For Houshmand, a season-salvaging victory earned a third win in three CT Finals, a victory for each year among the world’s best so far, came in unbelievable form. San Clemente’s powerhouse had to overcome one of Fiji’s best-ever to do it, Gabriel Medina, and still had his nerves about him following Medina’s Perfect 10 in the Final to narrow Houshmand’s excellent performance.
Vinaka, Fiji! Next year can’t come soon enough, but now all eyes head to Southern California and the Lexus Trestles Pro beginning September 10 through 20. An all-out, high-performance showdown awaits on the cobblestones of Lower Trestles, and the world’s best are ready to deliver as the World Title race heats up.
