Question 1: 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000 with pod filters. Sluggish at 4000 - 4400k rpm.
Answer: Not knowing what jets have been changed and what they are at. We suggest bumping the main jets up some.
Question 3: 1978 Honda CB750K Trouble getting back into neutral, troubles shifting into second or getting out of 1st. Lurching forward when gear input selected with clutch pulled in after the bike sits. AS well as the transmission jumping out of gears.
Answer: You NEED to have clutch lever free play at the lever or you will chase issues in the motor that are not needed. See linked video below.
The clutch sticking is a sign of the plates locking together. New Friction and steel plates being replaced is what we suggested. You may have a gearbox issue if the transmission is popping out of gear under load.
