Question 1: 1997 Honda Shadow VT1100ACE - “Bike runs great and only gives me trouble when I roll on the power in high gears. It bogs down. BUT, the spark plugs foul like a M/F after only about 50 to 60 miles”
Answer: Would be nice to see what you did with the EPA venting for the motor and carb attachments. Jets don’t seem too far off. The bog may actually be a lean cause that is being masked by an extremely rich low speed circuit issue. Need more data!
Question 2: 1998 Honda Shadow 1100T - Bike was running poorly, popping and backfiring. Messed with sync and mixtures. Backfiring after bike shuts off.
Answer: Sounds like you needed a carb clean from the start. Carb sync could be totally off at this point. Recommend going into carbs and doing a thorough cleaning and a bench sync to get you back to a workable assembly.

Question 3: 2000 Shadow VT1100 ace - Bike shut off during ride. Customer previously solved the issue by replacing the fuel filter and fuel pump.
Answer: Did you use factory Honda parts? If the tank is in bad shape there could be an issue with fuel flow or clogging excessively after a period of time. Check fuel flow and you can also try a fuel pump output test on your bike.
