Most people think excuses live in the moment. They don’t.
They’re trained. Repeated. Reinforced. Sometimes for decades. Sometimes across generations. Stress responses, avoidance, comfort-seeking, they get modeled, absorbed, and passed down long before you’re aware of them.

That’s the scary part.

But here’s the hopeful part: patterns aren’t destiny. The brain adapts. What repetition built, repetition can dismantle. When you act differently consistently, you interrupt the loop. You crack the code.

Here’s the lesson from Bronco Billy:
• Repeated thoughts become automatic behavior.
• Some patterns are inherited, not chosen.
• Intentional action can overwrite the default.

You don’t erase the past.
You outwork it until the new pattern takes over.
