Sometimes developers just need to shut up. They shouldn't say anything, and Randy Pitchford is the perfect example. Telling gamers that your Borderlands game is demanding for no reason, just turn on DLSS, enable frame gen, and to understand the relation of their hardware vs the software they're trying to run is insane. A premium product for premium gamers. Are you passively trying to say "stop being poor" Randy? Is anyone else that doesn't have a 5090 just some peasant? Well, that's interesting he would say this because even those with a 5090 can't run the new Borderlands game.
There are far more impressive games that run fine-exceptional
Uncharted 4, The Division, RDR2, Hogwarts Legacy, Cronos New Dawn, Metal Eden, the Horizon games, Spiderman games from Insomniac...
I could go on and on. The visuals in Borderlands 4 don't justify the requirements in my honest opinion.
