A Case for Books | The Bookwanderers Club: Michelle Harrison @ACaseforBooks | Uploaded May 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Episode 22 of The Bookwanderers Club, a live book club on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 2pm while schools are closed due to COVID-19.
Michelle Harrison, author of books including A Pinch of Magic and A Sprinkle of Sorcery, joins Anna to talk about witches, sisters, and her new series, Midnight Magic.
Michelle's writing prompt is to have a look around your home and find three objects that interest you, then make a list of all the power that object could have if it was magical. Then think about how a character might find that object and finally think about what could go wrong if the magical object ended up in the wrong hands. You can see Michelle talk more about her prompt in more detail at 29:30.
