The Blue Wolfdog is a wolfdog with the gene for a smoky blue coat, which is the name for this particular shade of grey. Solid blue puppies can only be produced as long as both parents have the blue gene. Ocean here is NOT a BlueBay Shepherd, as BlueBay shepherds are bred by Vicky Spencer and come from a different line. Ocean is approx 30% wolf, with the rest Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd and Husky. They are trainable, but skittish and grow to the size of a large German Shepherd. Blue wolfdogs have been around for decades as they are originally descended from the blue German Shepherd when it was mixed with a wolfdog.
