What's your favourite color? Mine is - Black! You might have heard of the blackest black in the world - Vantablack by Surrey Nanosystems. Its coating is formed of very tiny carbon tubes that absorb 99.96% of visible light, so it’s pretty much invisible to the human eye. It is primarily designed for NASA and military use, however, many artists wanted to get their hands on such special ultra-black materials. Anish Kapoor managed to get exclusive license to use Vantablack, which has caused rage in the art community. Stuart Semple took it personally. He made 'pinkest pink' and 'glitteriest glitter' available to anyone except Kapoor. This art fight over this 'blackest black' is still going on. which side are you on?
