Ever since the 90s, the Royal Rumble event has historically been the second biggest show of the year, and when a show has such importance and such a long history, there is bound to be tons of LORE that surrounds this event, from plans that were changed to what ifs, this single event has dictated so much of WWE history
So I decided to go back and take a look at some of that lore, find old rumors and reports and take a look at things that almost happened at Royal Rumbles of the past..
