In my opinion, the router is one of the most useful tools in the shop...but it's also one of the easiest to misuse.

In this video, I will share the biggest router mistakes I have seen over the decades of my woodworking career - and more importantly how to avoid them. From the tear-out and burning to feeding the router in the wrong direction, these are the mistakes that frustrate woodworkers, ruin project and sometimes damage expensive lumber. Well the good news is that they all easy to avoid once you understand why they happen.

So...whether you are using a handheld router or a router table, these simple techniques will help you get cleaner, safer operations and better looking projects.
