We drove *2,500 miles* to Lake Charles, Louisiana to buy a brand-new *2026 Ram 3500 Cummins* from *Mark Dodge Jeep Ram* and after everything we've been through with our last truck, we expected something to go wrong.
It didn't.
After dealing with repeated transmission failures on our 2024 Ram 2500, we decided to give Ram one more chance—this time with the new ZF 8-speed transmission. The problem was finding a dealership that would actually communicate, give us a fair price, and make the buying process painless.
