12 Practical ways to “Step Back into Pace with Creation”:
ALL of this is likely going to sound crazy and feel so backwards at first but I’ve found that I am still able to keep appointments, get work done and enjoy rest. Comment if you’re trying or have tried any of these!
1. experiment with removing clocks from your home
2. wake up without an alarm on the weekends
3. set a weekly day of rest with no “forward progress towards results” just enjoying what is, whatever that means to you.
4. pick a night to “sleep with the sun” don’t use artificial light to stay up or wake up.
5. have a date night or friends night with only candle light and firelight.
6. consciously spend more of your day outside. Move your desk outside, eat outside, create a living area outside to relax in.
7. start a garden!
8. shop at farmers markets and learn what is in season and when in your climate
9. honor your hunger cues and eat when you’re hungry.
10. read books and learn about living with your cycle, “In the Flo” by Alissa Vitti and learn about working to best support your horomones.
11. honor the season of life you are in.
12. Allow yourself to recieve from your man. Men typically *atually enjoy* more on their plate, and don’t need all the mothering we stress ourselves out “DOING” for them so much. At least from my own husband’s feedback- he loves when I do less for him, relax and let him do more for me/us! It’s a little thing but if you’re fighting it, it can feel like you’re swimming as hard as you can upstream with no progress in total exhasution. Go with the natural flow of creation and recieve all the things he wants to give you and do for you instead.
