Hunting Grounds, Damnation level gameplay on Consignment Yard HL-17-36, "Chasm Terminus", using the Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword and Equinox Mk IV Voidstrike Force Staff. Its been a lot of fun poking the faces of Nurgle's monsters like a true fencing champion.
The sword feels OK to use, I wouldn't say its amazing but its not bad either. I know the Mk V variant does more damage, but its easier to land weak spot hits with the Mk IV. I love the mobility stats on the swords though, big dodges and fast movement. When put against the Force Swords though, I'm not sure if they hold up. Force Swords have decent mobility, decent light/heavy attacks and then have the huge activatable ability that deals massive damage. All of this makes Force Swords more versatile in my opinion.
I'm new to the Voidstrike staff as well. Annoyingly it feels underpowered in my opinion, but I'm not sure whether that's just because it feels like it takes an age to charge up fully and unless you charge fully, it doesn't do much damage. The hitbox of the projectile feels pain stakeingly precise and not a true reflection of the vfx as well, making it hard to hit weak spots or enemies in general sometimes.
Let me know what you think of both weapons, do you think they're viable for high intensity / shock troop?
Are the Duelling Swords better than the Force Swords?
LOADOUT:
Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword
Equinox Mk IV Voidstrike Force Staff
Feats: 3-1-3-2-3-3
