Damnation level gameplay on Chasm Logistratum, Transit Hub HL-16-11, "Chasm Terminus", using the Accatran MG Mk II Heavy Laspistol and Cadia Mk IV Assault Chainsword. This is another weapon combination Commisars for the Emperor of Mankind.
Unfortunately, the Chainsword (Standard variant not the two handed big sword for the Zealots) is, in my opinion, the worst melee weapon in the game. The damage for normal swings, heavy swings and activated swings is incredibly low. The weapon activation bugs most of the time and doesn't actually activate so you find yourself floundering with a broken weapon, but once it does work, it doesn't do very much damage anyway!
I'm not sure if the Dev's have played the game with this weapon or not, but they need to give it some buffs because as of right now, it may as well not be in the game. Its a novelty piece that you look at and smile because its an iconic Warhammer weapon, and that's it.
I found I was having to force myself to use the Chainsword throughout this run rather than just shooting with the Laspistol as it was just unbearable to use.
