Well, by now you know my position on the Cayin RU6. Simply put, I think it’s the best $200 DAC you can buy, and I think it competes with things that are quite a bit more expensive – I’m guess I’m kind of a fanboy. Another budget alternative to a delta sigma DAC is the Schiit Modi Multibit (if you can get one). In this video I compare the Modi Multibit to the RU6 and go through pros and cons of each, and why some people might go for the Modi instead of the RU6.
