The Monoprice Monolith M1570 are heavy. No weigh around that (see what I did there?). If you can get past that, and you don’t mind that they totally rip off some other headphone manufacturers for pieces of their design, they don’t sound half bad. I’d definitely take them of the LCD2C, if you’re in that market, but the Edition XS from Hifiman is probably the safest choice for a planar in this price range.
