As the cover rightly states, "There are many words which might describe the Beckley Gospel Belles. To mention a few...fabulous. talented, ardent, fervent...but we have chosen sensational!". This is indeed a sensational record with beautiful and creative singing and playing throughout, but this take on a gospel standard really stands out to me. It's got such a unique, fascinating and unexpected arrangement with wildly complex vocal and musical interplay that absolutely blew my mind. 100% sublime.
