I bought this acetate as a true mystery disc as the artist is not listed on the record. The songs was recorded by The Troggs so I suspected this was a demo. That lead me to Artie Wayne, the writer, and listening to his vocals on another single he released I'm pretty certain this is him singing. He was also in a band called Shadow Mann that did a version of this song, not sure if it's the same version as this because I don't have that record...so if any one knows? Anyway...it's a great song and Artie really amplifies the tongue in cheek 'sexiness' of it with his over the top, semi-sleazy, punky delivery.
