I’ve always loved this track from the White Album. Such a great Soul inspired tune with a killer horn arrangement. The song was written by George and inspired by Eric Clapton’s fondness for chocolate. The lyrics list the various flavours offered in the Mackintosh Good News chocolates and serve as a warning to Clapton about the detrimental effect that his gorging would have on his teeth.
As a side note, this video features a cymbal that is new to me and being heard for the first time. The crash on my left side is a 60’s pre serial 18” Paiste 602 that I just picked up. I think it sounds really nice. All the cymbals here are actually 60’s 602’s.
