Easily one of my absolute favorite Beatles songs! The guitars and bass shine on this song and Ringo chose wisely to allow that to happen. The drums are very straightforward but there are a lot of little things happen that all add up to making this drum part grooving and absolutely perfect for the song. You wouldn’t think there were this many drum and percussion overdubs. They all intertwine so seamlessly that you can’t really tell until you start listening to isolated tracks. Here is a great isolated track of just overdubs.
