this song began as a suicide note. I was literally seconds away from doing something I couldn't take back, when I ultimately decided not to go through with it... Yet.

I carried the note in my wallet for months as I struggled to decide whether I should live or not.

Well, I'm still here, for what it's worth. The night I uploaded the song, I burned the note as a symbolic act of resolve. I still often ask myself if I made the right decision.

I chose music, because I couldn't choose myself. This song is dedicated to everyone who's lost that battle. They can't fight anymore, but I can.
