An exclusive stereo remaster of “Surfin’ U.S.A.” by the Beach Boys. The single was released in March 1963 and charted No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song became the top selling record by that year’s end. Brian Wilson wrote the surfin’ lyrics to Chuck Berry’s “Sweet Little Sixteen” melody. The original record only had Brian Wilson’s name as the composer; however, the Beach Boys did use the same music publisher as Chuck Berry, so both names properly appeared on the label in later releases.
