On April 26th 1986 the fourth reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded. The battle of Chernobyl has begun. For eight months, 800,000 young soldiers worked to try and 'liquidate' the radioactivity around the ruined reactor and, above all, to save the world from a second explosion.
Chernobyl...THIS is how I made the connection when Fuku happened, just how devastating Fuku really was! If this won't school a person up...then in my opinion nothing will!
In comparing the lengths the Russians went to to attempt to tackle this monster, to the Fuku fable...it screams to the soul how screwed we all are!
