In the Gods and Monsters universe, Kirk Langstrom is the Batman who feeds on the guilty. He has very little in common with the Bruce Wayne we all know.

In Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett reimagine the Dark Knight as a literal creature of the night: a man whose cure for cancer turned him into a vampire.

What follows is a tragedy of guilt, jealousy, and failed genius, where science replaces faith, and redemption is devoured by hunger. Langstrom drinks the blood of criminals not for justice, but to survive. And the man who made him, Will Magnus, spends the rest of his life trying to rewrite his mistake.
