I would suggest, as a valid point of entry into this form of exercise, that you begin walking barefoot before you start running. Begin with 30 minutes daily barefoot walking. 15 minutes of grass,dirt, or sand, and 15 minutes of concrete. Walking barefoot on the grass or dirt will allow you to experience the heath benefits of grounding, and the barefoot walking on concrete will allow you to begin fixing your posture.
